Timespecific is proud to present Ati Maier’s SpaceRider Cycle 2020. The series of four individual films received multiple laurels and is currently on view as a four-channel-video installation at the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg in Wolfsburg, Germany.

The SpaceRider 2020 is arranged as a Medicine Wheel with the four colors for the cardinal directions. During her stay in the American West, Ati was impressed by insights she gained into the beliefs of the Oglala Lakota Indians, whose philosophy strives for COSMIC balance and is symbolized by the wheel. It explains both the movements of the celestial bodies and is also the foundation of holistic healing.
